![]() Madix and Lozier are quite a lot alike to the untrained eye. But there are noticable differences. The front face of the lozier is flat, and the sides have longer flanges where the tips of the connecting ties go in

![]() The Bottom of the Madix Looks pretty much the same as the whole upright in the front, with the exception of the elongated slot at the very bottom.
Madix The Lozier Post or Upright, has either two or three distinct slots where the leg or Base Bracket attaches. Lozier The two lozier uprights in the above photo are relative to either low base or high base.
