Default Madix and Lozier Gondola Identification

Madix and Lozier are quite a lot alike to the untrained eye. But there are noticable differences. The front face of the lozier is flat, and the sides have longer flanges where the tips of the connecting ties go in

Lozier

Madix has a more concave face where the shelves go in, and the sides have external protrusions that hold the back panel in place

The Bottom of the Madix Looks pretty much the same as the whole upright in the front, with the exception of the elongated slot at the very bottom.

Madix

The Lozier Post or Upright, has either two or three distinct slots where the leg or Base Bracket attaches.

Lozier

The two lozier uprights in the above photo are relative to either low base or high base. The two hole is High Base only, and the three hole accomodate either

Madix top tie
Madix is one of the few that has placed their name where it can be identified

Madix shelf
The rear bracket does not always look like this on Madix. Changes occur on different sizes of shelves, and different years of production

Note the size of the shelf stamped into its' bracket.
